1-day Itinerary Of Auckland City -Cornwall Park To Parnell
This itinerary is one of my favourite routes I would take to show my friends and family around Auckland for one day. Suitable for all ages.
Starts from exploring local life in Cornwall Park by foot. As you stroll through the park keep your eyes peeled for sheep (no trip to New Zealand is complete without a sheep sighting) grazing in and around the crater. Some of the most incredible views of Auckland can be seen from the top.
Next stop is Newmarket, you can take bus or by driving. Newmarket is premier fashion, shopping and entertainment district. In Newmarket neighborhood, I highly recommend Best Ugly Bagel and Little and Friday which are two of my favorites where you will never be disappointed.
Next, you could visit Auckland Museum, to explore treasures of New Zealand and the Pacific. Auckland Museum tells the story of New Zealand, its place in the Pacific and its people. With daily Māori cultural performances and internationally significant Māori and Pacific collections, this is a must see New Zealand attraction.
The final stop is Parnell, with award winning restaurants & bistros with a diverse range of cuisine. Parnell has variety to satisfy everyone’s pallet.
