Welcome to Santa Fe, the capital of New Mexico, and to this tour of its Old Town area, presented by Insight Guides. My name is Katherine and I’ll be your guide. This tour takes approximately 2 hours to complete. You can stop at any time and start again at the same spot later. You can follow the route on your phone or simply listen as I guide you from one sight to the next. I’ll be giving you clear directions and the audio will automatically start playing when you get close to the next sight on the tour. Santa Fe is the most beautiful city in New Mexico, and one of the loveliest in the United States. It manages to retain its wealth of history while also being thoroughly modern, with a really thriving arts and crafts community, great restaurants and hotels, and a very definite atmosphere that's all its own. You'll get a sense of all of that as we walk around this historic Old Town area.
