Welcome to Historic Raleigh, North Carolina.  Founded in the early 1790s, it was established across 1000 acres of North Carolina’s best land.  Since then, it has exploded as one of the largest cities in the U.S., complete with its own vast list of historical treasures and landmarks.  On our winding tour through its downtown streets, we’ll take you to visit a number of these landmarks and more, detailing the rich history of some of Raleigh’s earliest buildings and sites.
