Welcome to the ski resort here in Seefeld. The Seefeld region is a tourist region near Seefeld in Tyrol. It provides the entire infrastructure as a Nordic center for winter sports and extensive offers in the summer season.Seefeld was the venue for the Nordic skiing disciplines during the Winter Olympics in Innsbruck (1964 and 1976). Nine years after the second Winter Olympics, the Nordic World Ski Championships took place in Seefeld in 1985. The Air & Style Snowboard competitions were held here from 2000 to 2004. Since 2000, the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup has taken place in the village. In 2011 for the ninth time in a row. During the Winter Youth Olympic Games, held for the first time in January 2012, Nordic sports were also organized here.In 2019, the Nordic World Championships were held in the region.On January 1, 2003, the local tourism associations merged to form the municipal association Tourismusverband Olympiaregion Seefeld. In 2022, the name was changed to Region Seefeld - Tyrolean High Plateau.
