Dear visitors!You are near the House-Museum of the First Congress of the Russian Social-Democratic Labor Party (the branch of the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus). The museum was opened in 1923 and it’s one of the oldest museums in the Republic of Belarus. Its history is closely connected with the political history of the country.This house was praised by Belarusian poets, such as Petrus Brovka, Nikolai Avramchik, Edi Ognetsvet, Turkmen poet Rukhi Aliyev, Bulgarian poet Naiden Vulchev and others.Currently, there are the main exhibition and one exhibition hall for temporary displays.The exposition consists of 3 themes. The first of them is "Provincial Minsk in the late XIX - early XX centuries". It presents the city of that time and citizen’s lifestyle. The next is the "First Congress of the RSDLP": the exhibition tells about the significant event that happened in this house in 1898. It also brings up the issues of the gendarme investigation. The final theme is "The History of the House Museum of the First Congress of the RSDLP".The exhibition hall is used for various projects: exhibitions, creative evenings, presentations. The museum is open for all-round and fruitful cooperation with any audience of visitors.
