The visit to the Rosaires allows you to discover a district dating from the beginning of the 20th century, made up of magnificent villas called rosarians, all while following a large and beautiful beach 2 kilometers long. Before 1900 there was only the castle and the farm which would have been built in 1599. The farm, now the manor, was bought in 1911 by Paul Marteroy who allowed him to create the beach subdivision. Then, the villas were built largely by the Briochine bourgeoisie who wanted to be closer to the sea. 20 houses were built before the First World War. Among them was Lucien Rosengart who was the founder of an automobile factory with 300 workers in Légué. These 2 personalities had a very important role in the development of this station.
