OPENED ONLY IN SUMMER (JUNE-OCTOBER)Col Drusciè Astro Ring is the educational-naturalistic route that passes through the woods surrounding the Col Drusciè hill. It's composed by two different trails: the Trail of the Planets and the Trail of the Universe. Its total length is about 1.5 km, for a drop of about 70 meters. The entire ring is easy path in less than an hour.The Trail of the Planets, is an easy walk to explore the solar system and its planets. Along the path that connects Pié Tofana at Col Drusciè, they were placed 12 information panels, illustratating with key parameters, data and photos of the various planets and the Sun, all set to a distance that, on size 1/10 billion, it reflects their real size and position in the space.The Trail of the Universe, the second part of the Col Druscié Astro Ring, is a path in the woods to the northwest of the hill, easily explored on foot. Having always as a reference point the Observatory of Col Druscié, allows the visitor to follow in spirit the whole universe, both in space and in time. On the trail, 10 information panels, properly positioned, illustrate gradually the main characteristics of stars, nebulae, clusters and galaxies, all compared to the easly understandable size scale of 1/10 billion.
