Ostafyevo is a village in the Novomoskovsk administrative district of Moscow. Until July 1, 2012 it was a part of the Podolsk district of the Moscow region. It is a part of the Ryazanovskoye settlement.   The village is mentioned in the annals in 1340. According to the scribe book of 1627 the village belonged to Prokopiy Lyapunov.
