Grafton Jacaranda & Heritage Walk
Sitting on the mighty Clarence River, the town of Grafton enjoys a rich and vibrant history and is world renowned for its beautiful jacaranda avenues.
Grafton’s jacaranda trees are something to behold. From mid October and to early November, the streets and parks of this Northern NSW city are transformed into avenues of purple. Blossoms cascade in the wind to create a carpet of mauve. It’s an experience that sees visitors return year after year...and is what locals call ‘Jaca Fever’.
Whether you want to take a stroll or ride a bike, this short self-guided walk will take you to some of the most popular Jacaranda avenues while appreciating some of Grafton’s historic buildings and landmarks.
