When it comes to places to swim, there are few cities in the world with the vast array of amazingly beautiful, breaktaking places to take a dip that Sydney has. The city and suburbs are surrounded by rivers, beaches, waterholes and rockpools, some of which are well known and have long been tourist magnets. Many however are tucked away in out of the way corners of the Sydney Basin, well away from the regular visitor hotspots, known only to the locals and visited by a handful who are quite happy to keep their secret corners of paradise to themselves.
