The Museum of Fire tells the story of Fire and Rescue through objects, historic vehicles and interactive displays. Located at 1 Museum Drive, Penrith, the Museum is a one hour drive west of Sydney via the M4, or a short three minute walk from Penrith Station. Experience interactive displays, a house fire simulation, the Junior Firefighter's Zone (a children's play area), and, a ride on a historic fire engine. With engines dating back to the early 1800's the Museum stands as a fitting monument to the heroic firefighters who support our communities. The steam engines, horse drawn carts, manual pumps and modern motorized engines also highlight how transportation has changed over the years.
