Port Botany and Sydney Airport are of huge economic importance to NSW. Their construction however has totally altered the once isolated suburb of Botany.

This tour will highlight these dramatic changes by guiding you to obscure landmarks and presenting you with site specific photographs from the past. Along the way you’ll discover fascinating stories, from an octopus which was seen holding a hand grenade to the reclamation work needed to build the airport and Foreshore Road.
