The Ferens is home to Hull's magnificent collection of paintings, sculpture and contemporary art. Spanning almost 700 years of art, from early religious works and European Old Masters to portraiture, marine painting, modern and contemporary British art, the Ferens has something for everyone. Highlights include masterpieces by Pietro Lorenzetti, Frans Hals, Antonio Canaletto, Stanley Spencer, David Hockney and Turner Prize winners, Gillian Wearing and Mark Wallinger.
