Sant Andreu: The Resilience of a Village Stuck in a City

This tour aims to show the resilience of Sant Andreu throughout its long dark history and how it has overcome its battles to become what it is today. Citizens from Sant Andreu's past will walk you throughout the neighborhood starting with how it became annexed to Barcelona and then focusing primarily on the Spanish civil war. The tour will end at the Fabra I Coats Factory to provide a representation of the urban renewal that Sant Andreu is experiencing today.
