Siena

Siena is a city of remarkable and unique world heritage, with its historical and artistic masterpieces, landscape and medieval architecture, local cuisine and famous bareback horse race – the Palio.It is one of the most visited cities in Italy, welcoming almost 200,000 tourists each year. In 1995, the historic city centre of Siena was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The local bank, named “Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena”, was founded in 1472, and is now the most ancient active bank in the world!
