Minneapolis is one of the most northerly big cities in the USA but still manages to be wonderfully hot in summer - and it protects you from winter cold with its Skyways which link city blocks. It's a great wheat and corn milling city serving the prairies but there's native American history, top class professional sports and shopping nearby at the vast Mall of America. Well worth a tourism visit.Please, beware this is not a GPS tour but a set of stories about interesting places in the particular area.
