New York City is a bustling water-based city away from the skyscrapers of Manhattan. The Hudson, the East River, New York's huge harbour link Manhattan to the other boroughs like Staten Island, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens. Out in the harbour are two iconic tourist attractions - the State of Liberty and Ellis Island where millions of immigrants from the Old World were cleared to enter the United States.
