Downtown Cleveland: A Brief Stroll through the Past

Cleveland is the home of LeBron James, and it’s the birthplace of both Drew Carey and Superman. It was named after Moses Cleaveland, a land surveyor who oversaw plans to build the city in the late 18th Century. This tour provides a look at the oldest part of Cleveland, since this downtown area was the heart of the settlement that Moses Cleaveland and his team established. As you’ll see, it’s grown up a lot in the last 200 years, but the city has taken steps to preserve the area’s history, while also guiding it into the future.
