Spin, Splash, And Soar In Southwestern Orlando

Hello and welcome to this tour of Orlando, Florida, as presented by Insight Guides. My name is Katherine and I’ll be your guide. This tour takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to complete. 

You can stop at any time and start again at the same spot later. You can follow the route on your phone or simply listen as I guide you from one sight to the next. I'll be giving you clear directions and the audio will automatically start playing when you get close to the next stop on the tour. Don't worry if you need to skip a sight as the tour will pick up at the next location. Known as “The City Beautiful”, Orlando is a sun-drenched town bustling with restaurants, resorts, and of course, theme parks. Year-round, folks from all over the world, come here to meet Mickey, ride lightning-speed roller coasters, and enjoy oodles of family friendly attractions.

On this tour, you’ll be dropping in at the visitor’s center, then traipsing down I-Drive (what the locals call International Drive) for more fun than you ever thought possible. Pose with wax versions of your favorite celebrities, observe beautiful tropical fish, play some putt putt and experience a zombie encounter straight out of The Walking Dead. Along the way, there are plenty of great places to stop in for some international cuisine, like Tapa Toro, New Punjab and Nile Ethiopian; if you fancy a beer or a wine, check out places like Cooper’s Hawk Winery and O’Shuck’s.

Our tour begins just south of Austrian Row and spans several blocks along the infamous I-Drive, Orlando’s busiest thoroughfare. Are you ready to enjoy fun for all ages in the heart of Central Florida!? Then let’s begin.
