Otto Lanz was a surgeon, art collector and social person from Switzerland. For the most part of his life he lived in Amsterdam, in a villa at the Museum Square. In this audio tour, Otto Lanz will take you back to his time. Walk across the Museum Square and be moved by his stories.
This audio tour was developed as a part of the MuseumCamp 2016, organised in the Allard Pierson Museum. In just 3 days about 80 museum professionals worked together to build an exhibition using digital tools. Every group was responsible for one object. The death mask of Otto Lanz – which was made after his death to respect his life – was one of the objects for which this audio tour was developed.
