Amsterdam Countryside Bike Tour- Extension ('Ouderkerk aan de Amstel - Rondje Rondehoep')

This is the extended version of the Amstel River Countryside Basic Bike Tour. Use the Basic version to reach Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and to get back to Amsterdam. The Extended version shows you around in the rural area around Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and is a must see for the more experienced cyclists.

The more south you get, the more rural the area gets. The authentic polders 'De Ronde Hoep' and De Duivendrechtse Polder and the beautiful waters, lake 'Ouderkerkerplas' and rivers the Amstel and the Bullewijk make the area to a great spot for walking, biking and all kinds of wateractivities. 'Ronde Hoep Polder', can be roughly translated as 'The Round Hoop Polder'. This means it is a roundtrip, which takes you all the way back to Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. A day trip to Amstel River Countryside is the typical Dutch experience which makes your trip to Amsterdam complete.
