Pedro de Rates, entering in Barcelosthrough Macieira de Rates. This route, that connects this village to the city of Barcelos, comprises mainly of rural trails, with no major geographical difficulties insofar as it is mainly flat terrain, with only small hills. It should be noted, however, that on the Estrada Nacional 306, despite the pedestrian pavement running most of the length of the stretch that links PedraFurada to Pereira, pilgrims should be vigilant in relation to the traffic.
