The culture biking trailstarts from the Hämeenlinna railwaystation. Trail passes by Häme´s oldestchurch Vanaja. Next stop at TurenginWanha Asema. The end destination atthis route is historical Laurinmäki withits nature trail, museum and coffeehouse. The trail goes back the sameroute. If wanted, include a visit anddinner at the Vanajanlinna on the wayback. Vanajanlinna is a beautiful oldmanor, with many different activitieslike golf and spa.DAY 2Hämeenlinna – Hattula – Hämeenlinna (28 km)The second day’s culture biking trail starts also from the Hämeenlinna railway station.Trail goes by the beautiful Vanaja lake. After the railway bridge you will arrive to theAulanko, where you can find many activities like spa, riding, golf, climbing park. It’s worthto visit also the Aulanko nature reserve. Next you will arrive to the Hattula church. At theMierola bridge are coffeehouse. It is also recommended to visit the historical Holy CrossChurch. The last destination is the Häme Castle. Where you can visit the Castle museumbut there are also other museums like The Prison and Museum Militaria. The trail ends tothe Hämeenlinna railway station.Good to know: In the trail is separate pavement for pedestrians and cyclists.
