As part of the course "Visual Anthropology" by Dr. Sandra Guinand visiting fellow at the Department of Social Anthropology, Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Comenius University, Alena Lang and Maros Ondreijka explored the transformation of Petrzalka urban landscape through financialization. Alena and Maros' have proposed an itinerary to be followed by foot or by bus. Listening to their comments you will discover housings' courtyards which have yet remained protective enclaves and could spaces for social appropriation. You will also come across signs of financialization that is slowly transforming the area.
The tour will begin at Bohrova AEC and end in the Sunflower housing development. At each stop, Alena or Maroz give you a short description of the site.
