Small stone streets and beautiful homes have preserved the rich history of this place. The old part of the city is surrounded by the sea on three sides. There is an unusually high concentration of many monuments, forts, monasteries, churches, palaces and galleries on this small piece of land behind massive walls. The majority of them were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
