Welcome to the footsteps of captains and shipowners in western Estonia! This path is a part of E9/ European coastal route, which starts in the cape of São Vicente in Portugal and ends in Estonia, Narva-Jõesuu, where River Narva flows to the Gulf of Finland.

The trail begins in present day Heinaste/Ainaži in Latvia, which was a part of Livonia in the 19th century and gave education to sailors, captains and ship builders.
