Pierre Auger Observatory - Cya On The Road

These Cosmic Rays are particles which arrive from the Cosmos at a very high speed. They were discovered by Victor Hess in 1912, but we do not know which kind of párticles are, or which is the object from were they come from.

The detection is made using different techniques. More than 400 scientists, from 19 countries, work together as part of the International Collaboration in Pierre Auger.
