Guinea-Bissau, officially the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, is a country in West Africa bordering Senegal to the north, Guinea to the south and east, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The Guinean territory covers 36 125 square kilometres in area, with an estimated population of 2 million people.
