Welcome to a guided tour of the Wiener Neustadt Central Library, the first merger of a public library and an academic library in Austria. Since autumn 2019, the Wiener Neustadt public library has been part of the new City Campus of the Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences located within the former Carmelite monastery. Memberships as well as individual check-outs are free of charge for everyone. At the entrance to the library you can find a bicycle parking, a place to relax, a bookcrossing as well as a book return box in case the library is closed. The inner-city bike rental is also located in front of the main entrance to the City Campus. Entering the building will take us to our next stop, the “Service point”.
