Welcome to the walk on the edge of the built-up bowl of Aalst and Waalre.The two villages, Aalst and Waalre and the surrounding area together form the municipality of Waalre since 1928.The town is clamped between two meandering streams, the Tongelreep and the Dommel which meet in Eindhoven. This walk shows the varied landscapes around the two villages.The walk goes largely on sandy roads that can become muddy in the event of heavy rains.
