Tournai Cathedral

The remarkable building is a World Heritage Site. One of the reasons for this recognition was the quality of the real estate and furniture heritage it has preserved, unlike other religious buildings of the same magnitude. The treasure is obviously the major element. In this regard, the association's first concern is the enhancement of the Cathedral and its cultural heritage. With the financial resources raised, the Friends aim above all to ensure the conservation, restoration and enhancement of the works that belong to the Cathedral as well as those entrusted to it. The association can also imagine organizing and supporting events or other activities promoting a better knowledge of the history and heritage of the Cathedral.
