Percy-en-Normandie. Located next to one of the belvederes of the department, Percy had been damaged during the Second World war. On 2th August 1944, after a deadly battle that lasted several days, the town was liberated by the 28th Infantry Division. They lost 750 soldiers in a single day. Nowadays, you can see buildings and houses from the reconstruction period, as well as a local figure’s house: Cardinal Grente.Follow this 5-kilometer stroll to discover its history.
