Saint-Malo is a French commune located in Brittany, in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine, and is the main port on the north coast of Brittany. The tourist sector is also very developed there.The town is on the Channel coast and on the right bank of the Rance estuary. It is 18 km north of Dinan, 75 km north of Rennes and 404 km from Paris.The current municipality of Saint-Malo is the result of the merger on 26 October 1967 of the former municipality of Saint-Malo with those of Paramé and Saint-Servan.
