In the footsteps of Diane de Poitiers

Hello, delighted to meet you ! My name is Diane de Poitiers. I was born at the end of the fifteenth century in St Vallier-sur-Rhone. My family settled here in 13th century and became Lords of the city. My father, Jean de Poitiers is himself an earl, however my brother,  his only descendant, unfortunately had no child.  I therefore received the title Lady of Saint Vallier in addition to Duchess of Valentinois and Countess of Albon.Sadly, I have not spent much time on my homeland as I married very young, at the age of 15, to Louis de Brézé, the Great Seneschal of Normandy. However I still have, as always, lovely souvenirs in spite of a slight lapse of memory. Would you like to come with me at the same time visit  an area of the  Dauphiné called “Porte de DrômArdèche”.
