Runing across the countryside and through the small village of Farneta, the path allows visitors to visit the century-old Abbey of Farneta, the “Don Sante Felici” paleontological museum as well as the area where the fossils, now partly displayed in this museum and partly in the “Museo di Geologia e Paleontologia dell’Università degli Studi di Firenze” in Florence, where originally unearthed. Part of the path eventually runs on to merge with the “Sentiero della Bonifica” allowing to reach several other destinations.
