The Truffle Path - Il Sentiero del Tartufo

The Truffle Path winds its way along the shady paths of the trifolao, the seekers of the precious White Truffle of the Rocche, climbing along vineyards clinging to sandy soils and dotted with ciabòt (rural buildings) of all shapes in a ring nature trail. The Rocche truffle is considered one of the best in circulation: more fragrant than that found in the field, it takes on rounded and regular shapes thanks to the marly nature of the soils, a feature particularly appreciated in the kitchen because it makes cleaning the truffle easier.
