The Rocca Creusa Path - Cya On The Road

The Rocca Creusa Path runs alongside the most scenic Rocche amphitheater in the area, where the vegetation hides the cave where the legendary hermit lived, also remembered in a story by Giovanni Arpino. The itinerary winds through a mixed wood that slopes down into the valley floor cultivated with hazel groves and maize from the Moreis hamlet, and climbs, on a shaded road lined with rocche walls, towards the town of Pocapaglia, crossing votive shrines and rural churches. The path begins in the main square of Pocapaglia, Piazza Principessa Maria Pia, near the parish church of SS. Giorgio and Donato. On the square it is possible to make a panoramic stop on the view of Rocche that laps the inhabited center.
