In the past, the Euganean Hills were characterized by a thick network of small navigable canals which were connected to the main waterways of medieval origins and enabled to get easily to Venice and its Lagoon: the Battaglia and Bisato canals. Along the way there are restaurants and other places to refuel and try out local produce.
