The name Libertà was chosen because the first buildings built had Art Nouveau features, including wrought iron railings with floral decorations.Today a "difficult" neighborhood, marked by closed shops, poverty and problems concerning public order, a district of Bari that also hides a lot of beauty among its streets. Here, in fact, numerous late 19th/early 20th century buildings still "resist", some of which are in an evident state of decay, but others which, on the contrary, have maintained a splendid appearance thanks to successful restorations.However, few know that real surprises are hidden among these architectural jewels.
