Monuments of Almaty II

This route includes 10 monuments reflecting historical events and displaying heroes and cultural figures. The spirit of patriotism and heroism breathes in the monuments immortalized in honor of the participants of the Afghan and great Patriotic War. Guests of the southern capital will be able to "immerse themselves" in the times of the national liberation uprising of 1916, the leader of which was the folk hero Amangeldy Imanov. A monument in his honor was erected in 1950 in the square between Mametov and Makatayev streets.
