Beer-story of Gdańsk

Did you know that Gdańsk was for centuries the center of brewing in this part of Europe? That at the beginning of the XVI century there were more than four hundred small cratf-type breweries in our city? That their owners lived and worked in the most privileged parts of the city on well known streets such as Ogarna, Szeroka or Korzenna? That the so-called Jopean bear was recognized abroad and exported to many countries, mainly England?
