The State Tretyakov Gallery invites you to take a walking tour dedicated to one of the artists of the Art Nouveau and Symbolism period: Alexander Golovin.As one of the reformers of Russian theater, he joined a select group of other notable painters such as Konstantin Korovin, Isaac Levitan, and Mikhail Vrubel, who defined new paths of development for Russian culture at the turn of the twentieth century.We invite you to become acquainted with the Moscow that the artist knew: take a walk through Moscow's theater district, see outstanding examples of Art Nouveau architecture, and visit the places where Golovin's close friends lived.
