Petrovsky Redoubt - Cya On The Road

The Petrovsky Redoubt route is the shortest walking route we offer our tourists. Its length is 600 meters. But this short distance is filled with natural and historical objects that will not leave anyone indifferent. Therefore, we recommend having an hour and a half free time to recharge with energy rushing at an incredible speed of water on the Losevsky rapids, to see the boundaries of water and land before an environmental disaster on the Karelian Isthmus, to climb the ramparts of a defensive structure built by decree of Peter the Great, included by A. V. Suvorov to the line of fortresses to protect the western borders of the Russian Empire and useful for military purposes only during the Winter and World War II.The route is very convenient for visiting, as it is easy to reach from the railway station Losevo platform and Losevo bus stop. It can be visited at any time of the year, but we recommend the time from April to September. The route begins on the observation deck on the banks of the Losevsky River Rapids at the Chinese gazebo at the recreation center "LosevoDa" and has three stops.
