Welcome to Dundee Libraries' Carnegie 100 ABCDE Trail, first run from August to October 2019. One hundred years after the death of Andrew Carnegie, the trail provides a range of opportunities to explore the rich history of Dundee's libraries, and the city's built heritage.
This self-guided walking tour was created as part of the D into E - Delve into Echoes of the Past event, but can also work as a stand-alone activity. The tour follows a route between two former Carnegie libraries in the city centre, beginning at the McManus Collections Centre on Ward Road (formerly Ward Road Reading Rooms) and finishing outside the former St Roque's Library at Blackscroft.
