Brierley Hill Historic Buildings and Sketching

Starting in the library in Brierley Hill High Street, this tour visits many of the historic buildings in the town’s conservation area.  Take your time to look closely at the buildings;  look up above ground level; see the decorations, the brickwork and the beauty of many of the buildings that we so often take for granted, or miss in the rush of everyday life.As part of Heritage Open Day people are being encouraged to sketch details from the building and post them on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #BrierleyHillSketch.  Local artist Justine Chamberlain-Page has already done some sketches and as you scroll through the pictures you will enjoy viewing them.  Have a go yourself!
