There's More To Morden: Heritage Trail 3

This trail has been produced as part of "There's More to Morden," a Neighbourhood Fund project designed by Merton Heritage Service to engage people with over 100 years of local heritage.Working with volunteers and community partners, we are creating displays in local shops and parks, web resources and guided walks to raise awareness of Morden's unique history.The trail covers a circuit around Morden Hall Park, starting from the Stable yard area.Morden Hall Park has parking available and is within easy reach of Morden Underground station, the adjacent bus station and Morden Road Tram Stop. Once at the stable block, you are standing in one of the historic local estates. Morden Hall Park has been at the heart of life in this area for over 250 years. ​Closely associated with leading local families, it has played an important part in the industrial, social and environmental history of Morden. This trail reveals more about the fascinating history of the estate, plus the people, places and events with which it is associated.
