Tour through Burlington, Vermont!
Welcome to the land of the maple syrup – Vermont.Burlington is the largest city within the state. Burlington dates back to 1798, and was first called Wellington Square. The origin of the name has two concepts; the first is that it was named after Richard Boyle, 3rd Earl of Burlington, and the second is it was named after a politically noticeable and prosperous Burling family from New York. There are a few paranormal stories around Burlington, one is about the building which is now “The Farmhouse Tap N’ Grill”, way back it was a popular fast food chain. The story goes that one night a night maintenance crewman was working in the basement and came rushing back to his fellow worker shouting. They went down to find the stainless steel gallon tanks of syrup stacked into a pyramid. They turned off the radio and waited for the morning manager to arrive. When she arrived, the crew went down to show her the stack of tanks. Then the radio suddenly turned on, frightening them. They all went out quickly out of fear and the manager also recounted how two weeks prior, the other closing crews also heard a horrible scream when nobody else was there.
