Friend of a Friend: Toby

Friend of a Friend is a locative fictional memoir about the complications of remembering the past and reconnecting after a long time apart.Your friend Toby makes an unusual request: Would you meet up with Kate, an old college friend of theirs, during T/F since they can’t make it to the fest? As you attend the fest, Toby sends you emails reminiscing about their friendship with Kate. Through those emails, as well as audio recordings and photos, you learn about the ups and downs of their relationship. When you piece together why they drifted apart, will you still decide to meet up with Kate?Friend of a Friend was made for the True/False Film Fest Transmedia Arcade in 2018, and was supported by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
