A Self-Guided Tour of Alpena Michigan's Architectural and Historic Homes - Cya On The Road

Hi. Welcome to our walking tour, A Self-Guided Tour of Alpena Michigan's Architectural and Historic Homes. This presentation is presented by Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library. Weʼre so glad youʼll be joining us today! Iʼm Nancy and Iʼll be your guide.A few notes before we get started. This tour takes approximately forty six minutes  to complete, plus the time you spend at each stop.  You can stop at any time and start at the same spot later.  The audio will automatically start when you get close to each point of interest. To ensure the best audio quality during the tour, the use of a headset is recommended. And this is important: PLEASE make sure you stay aware of your surroundings at all time. Oncoming vehicles, bicyclists or people walking with our without a pet can be hazards. The homes you will see are private residences and are not open to the public.  While we must respect the owners privacy, feel free to admire the outside of the structure while remaining on the sidewalk.OK, I think we're ready to get started. Take a look around. You should be standing at the corner of Chisholm St and State Ave. You are? Then let's begin! Welcome to Alpena Michigan's Architectural and Historic Homes.
