River Adventure 1

In this adventure you’ll be exploring the South Platte River and a stream that flows into it in Denver's Globeville Landing Park, and learning some basics about water quality, why it's important, and how to measure it.Globeville Landing Park was recently redesigned so that Montclair Creek can be made healthier before it flows into the South Platte River. In this park residents can enjoy being outdoors near the South Platte River. You’ll learn how to monitor water quality. You’ll measure the quality of the river water and of water in Montclair Creek, which flows into the South Platte. Plan to spend at least 1 to 2 hours at the park to complete this adventure.When you go: Complete each of the activities in the order shown in the locations on the map.Remember: Wash your hands after coming in contact with river or stream water, especially before you eat anything.
